R12: Accounting Flexfield and GL Ledger Flexfield Do Not Match

Goal
Creation of single Chart of Accounts structure populates the information for two flexfields one with Flexfield Title as Accounting Flexfield and another as GL Ledger Flexfield.
It was observed that if the Allow Dynamic Inserts is changed for the Accounting Flexfield and the flexfield is compiled, this change of the status for Allow Dynamic Insert is not reflected in GL Ledger Flexfield.
It is understood that GL Ledger Flexfield is not supposed to be changed manually and it is used only internally by the Applications. Is this intentional or this is a problem?
