Error message 'Please Enter A Valid Cost Center' Occurs on the General Information Page While Creating An Expense Report (Doc ID 418680.1)

Symptoms

While attempting to enter an expense report via Oracle Internet Expenses, the employee receives the error message "Please enter a valid cost center" when attempting to navigate out of the General Information page.

Steps to recreate

1) Log into Self Service Web Applications and select the OIE related responsibility
2) Select the Create Expense Report button from the OIE Home Page
3) The General Information page appears.  The Cost Center field may or may not be displayed based upon the setup of the instance.
4) Select the Next button after selecting an  Expense Template and/or entering an Overriding Approver.
5) The error occurs.
