Information in this document applies to any platform.
EXECUTABLE:GMCACOST - OPM Actual Cost Process

Goal

We are using OPM PMAC Actual Costing (GMCACOST).

We have two Items, both of which have zero on-hand at the end of the previous period, and both of which have zero net activity in the current period (that is to say, there may have been transaction activity, but the result is that there is still zero on-hand at the end of the current period).

Both Items have an Actual Cost in the previous period.

For one of the Items, the Actual Cost process has copied the previous period's Costs into the current period, and this is what we expect.  This Item did not appear in any of the error messages produced by the Actual Cost process.

For the other Item, the previous period's Costs have not been carried forward, resulting in an Item Cost of zero.  Actual Costing has produced an error message :

Net receipt qty for item <XXXXX> - whse 'YYYY' is 0. This will effect the raw matl cost.
