How does one get the cost to display for configured ATO items in the sales order form?
When creating a configured ATO item from within a sales order, a cost rollup is not performed. In addition,
if the "create configuration item" process is run to create the configuration and a cost roll up performed, the
cost does not show on the sales order. However, if a previously configured item is entered directly on to a
sales order line, instead of configuring the ATO model, then the cost shows correctly.
The profile option "BOM:CTO Perform Cost Rollup " is set to YES
Steps to Reproduce Problem:
1 - Create ATO model & BOM
2 - Create costs for optional items within the BOM
3 - Create sales order and configure the ATO model
4 - Book the sales order
5 - Right click on the model order line and 'progress order' to create the configuration
Because of this issue, you cannot calculate ATO costs during the order process and therefore
cannot calculate margin.
