FNDLVMLU Faces Frm-41051 When Trying To Recheck The Global Security Group (Doc ID 422664.1)

Symptoms

In the "Application Utilities Lookup" window,  uncheck the check box "Global Security Group", enter a new lookup code and try to recheck the check box "Global Security Group".   When doing this, the following error occurs:

FRM-41051: You can not create records here

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Navigate to Responsibility: UK HRMS Manager

2. Navigate to Other Definitions => Application utilities Lookups

3. In the Application Utilities Lookup form, query for the Extensible lookup type "CONTACT"

4. Uncheck the Checkbox "Global Security Group".

5. Select "Yes" for the note message "Do you wish to customize this lookup types for this Security Group?"

6. Enter the following a new code
    Code      :  XXX
    Meaning :  XXX 1st Wife

7. Save the record.

8. Recheck the "Global Security Group" checkbox.

9. Select "OK" from the caution window
    "Do u wish to revert to this lookup type to the Global Security Definition?"

10. Getting the following error in the Forms window
      "FRM-41051: You can not create records here."

11. Click on the "OK" button in the window and again the same error window appears.

12. Conclusion: Unable to save the changes because of this error message appears in loop.
