Last updated on JULY 26, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Sales for Handhelds - Version to [Release 11.5.10]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

"Oracle Sales Synchronization" button is not
visible in Microsoft Outlook in some machines.
Some customers experienced this problem when using Windows 2000.

Checking the "Oracle Sales Synchronization Plugin" and clicking OK,
doesn't keep the check box checked. When you reopen, you
will see that the Oracle Sales Synchronization plugin is still unchecked:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Tools
- Options
- Other
- Advanced Options
- COM Add-Ins...

"Oracle Sales Synchronization" button should be
displayed in the Microsoft Outlook toolbar.

Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to Sales User responsibility
2. Go to Sales Dashboard, click on Preferences (top right hand corner).
3. Download the Outlook synchronization client.
4. Save it and install it.
5. Open outlook and you don't see the Oracle Sales synchronization button.
