If an address is used in multiple operating units (OU), any changes made to a customer address in one OU cascades to the other OUs as well.
- If you change Address Line 1 in one Operating Unit, then that same change will be seen in other OUs that link to the same address.
- If you change the status of an address in one Operating Unit and there are other addresses linked to the same Party Site in other Operating Units, then the system will automatically inactivate the related addresses in those Operating Units as well.
