Invalid Credit Card Number or Expiry Date Error in Service Contracts

The error below is seen in a number of different scenarios in Service Contracts. For example:
- when trying to update a subscription agreement
- when editing a contract
- when copying contracts
- when creating a contract from Order Management.
Invalid Credit Card Number or Expiry Date
Steps to reproduce:
(R) Service Contracts
- Enable the credit card encryption
- Enter validate credit card number and expiration date in Service Contract
- Copy to a new contract
- Receive error
This happens after applying the Credit Card Encryption <Patch 4607647>.
