OM Configurator Poor performance When Options Greater Than 100 In An Option Class

Symptoms
On 11.5.10.2 in Production:Poor performance when we use the Generic Configurator - Java version. Some of our ATO models have option classes with 100 options. We have the configurator set to show list prices.
List prices are returned by a formula associated with PL lines. The formula simply returns the
value of a custom pricing attribute that we populate with a pl/sql api.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect that the form open in a few seconds.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enter ATO Model on line oexoeord. Click Configurator.
2. Click on option class folder in java configurator.....
3. It takes 4 minutes to open.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot process orders in a timely manner.
