Salary Admin - How to Default Status to Approved Instead of Proposed? (Doc ID 433965.1)

Goal

With the new web based salary administration, when creating a new salary proposal, the status drop down list defaults to Proposed.

In the old forms version, it would default to checked if the person entering it had the ability to approve salaries.

Is it possible to change the drop down list to default to Approved instead of Proposed ?
