Error when error End dating Plan Element (Doc ID 436927.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to end date a plan element the following error occurs.

ERROR
The date range of the plan element rate table assignment is not within the date range of the plan
element, or the end date for the assignment is null while the end date of the plan element is not
null

Or
The date range of the plan element should be within the date range of the referenced plan elements
in the formula assigned to it

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

 OIC > Incentive > element > end date the plan element
