Oracle Purchasing - Version 11.5.10.2 to 11.5.10.4 [Release 11.5]Information in this document applies to any platform.
FORM:POXBWVRP.FMB - AutoCreate Documents GUI
Symptoms
On release 11.5.10.2, when autocreating a foreign currency requisition into a functional currency purchase order (PO), the functional currency price is copied from the requisition. Hence the price is copied at the rate from the day the requisition was created, which can be weeks before.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect that the foreign currency price is copied from the requisition and the functional price is converted based on the autocreate date rate.
Steps To Reproduce:
Example : functional currency is ILS and foreign currency is USD.
1. On day 1, currency rate is 1 USD = 4 ILS.
2. Create a foreign currency requisition on day 1. Currency rate would be 4. Foreign price 100, functional price 400.
3. Autocreate this requisition into a Purchase Order in functional currency ILS on day 14.
On day 14, currency rate is 1 USD = 4.5 ILS.
4. The Purchase Order autocreated has the price 400 ILS as copied from the requisition instead of 450 as the currency rate used should be 4.5.
