END CUSTOMER ADDRESSES FIELDS IN ORDER HEADER ARE NOT SHOWN WITH PROMPTS (Doc ID 453067.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 16, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 11.5.10.0 to 11.5.10.3 [Release 11.5.10]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
OEXOEORD.fmb - Standard Sales Order Form
OEXOETEL.fmb - Quick Sales Order Form

Goal

Standard Sales Order forms do not display prompts on the Address1,2,3, etc. field on the form.
Customers may need to see a prompt on the main address fields in order to know what the site use this address is for, such as BILL TO, SHIP TO, SOLD TO, etc.

In the case of adding additional site uses, such as  "END_CUSTOMER_ADDRESS1", there is not a "Location" field associated with the address, so it is difficult to know what the address is actually used for. Without a field prompt, a user must investigate other means to determine the usage.

A field 'Prompt' would be very helpful in determining this on the form, in some situations.
