Goal

Release 12 contains a new flexfield for GL called the Ledger Flexfield, which is for internal use only. It must not be modified.

What is the potential impact of having directly modified the Ledger Flexfield?
Is there any way to correct it after the fact?
If the flexfield is for internal use only, why is it accessible to manual modification?
