Symptoms
On Release 11.5.10, The Print Purchase Order via View Document functionality fails for some buyers with the following error .
Error Message
Problem: The system could not generate the PDF document.
Reason: The system detected an error in the following code/object.
Code: XML
Object: PO
Action: Please contact the system administrator and try again.
Steps To Reproduce:
1.0 Responsibility : Human Resources
1.1 People=>Enter and Maintain (Form Name : PERWSHRG)
1.2 Query for the buyer
1.3 From others button get the Phone numbers, can find more than one work record against the buyer HR record.
2.0 Navigated to Responsibility: Purchasing
2.1 PO summary form, do query for one purchase order (M) Inquire=>View Document =>Open then print
2.2 The PO communicate fails.
3.0 The Fnd Debug Log file shows the following MESSAGE TEXT "ORA-19202: Error occurred in XML processing
ORA-01422: exact fetch returns more than requested number of rows
ORA-06512: at ""APPS.PO_COMMUNICATION_PVT"", line 4723"
