Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Form Recipe, Tab Step quantity: Descriptice flexfield (DFF) is not available even if it has been setup.
Attributes appear to be defined , but do not appear as implemented in those forms (step material association, step quantity). The problem indeed, is that no flexfields are implemented in the screens.

There is a solution that the flexfields can be accessed by using a subsidiary form, i.e: via Routing forms
Path of the available workaround
Recipe Routing Steps Flex-field is available at Steps level.
Navigation : Routing -> Edit Step Line

However, you may have business reasons to get access to the flexfields in the Main screen: the information should be visible for the user in the main screen (recipe), not in the "back screen" (routing)
