Can SIC and Customer Classifications be Made a Required Field? (Doc ID 457048.1)

When you are using Oracle Territory Management, the application uses SIC , General Classification and Industrial Classifications as a criteria to assign Sales Teams to customers

These fields are not mandatory. Often customer records will be created without these
classification fields being populated. This means that Sales Teams will not be assigned by
Territory Assignment Program when Opportunities are created for these customers

1. Are there any APIs that you could utilize to insert the required Classification
information for customer records?

2. Is there a way of making Customer Classifications mandatory when entering a Customer record?
