This problem can occur on any platform.
This applies to manually created shipments, which do not have an equipment group specified.

equipment reference units for shipment ...
1. The equipment group shouldn't be mandatory when an equipment AND equipment reference unit is defined, since the equipment is already tied to an equipment group. The ambiguity is already provided.
2. If it is mandatory, it should be red-stared in the shipment UI and it should be impossible to 'finish' a shipment without it.
