When the workflow times out it goes to the next supervisor in the hierarchy.
If this is not approved it keeps going up the hierarchy until it reaches an approver who does not have a supervisor then the workflow errors with "No surrogate approver exists"
Is the above scenario intended behaviour, that is:
1- When an approval when attached to 1 supervisor at most rule that the timeout keeps sending the approval up the supervisor hierarchy rather than returning it to the originator as timed out?
2- When no approver exist when top of the hierarchy for the workflow to error rather than go back to the originator?
