Unable To Select A Newly Created Category In Knowlege Management

On 11.5.10 in Production:
After creating a new category in Knowlege Mangement ,unable to select the same in Support tab > Ask Me tab...Knowledge Base page .
Expect to select and be able to use the new category after setting up.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility:Customer Support
2. Path:Knowledge Management - Set up
