CM With Freight: Subledger Journal Entry Does Not Balance, Missing Freight Account In XLA (Doc ID 461998.1)

Symptoms

Credit Memos with FREIGHT lines are not posting to GL and they are out of balance in the XLA tables.     When you view the data for the CM all the distributions are created in ra_cust_trx_line_gl_dist and the CM is in balance.  When running Create Accounting the CM appears out of balance in XLA tables as the FREIGHT line is not being created in XLA tables.     

 

The Subledger Accounting Program Report will show the following:

Error Number : 0
Error Message : The subledger journal entry does not balance in the entered currency. Please verify the entered amounts on the journal entry lines.

The accounting will appear as follows:

RA_CUST_TRX_LINE_GL_DIST_ALL
REC, amount = -22.1
TAX, amount = -1.1
FREIGHT, amount = -10
REV, amount = -11

XLA_AE_LINES
RECEIVABLE, cr = 22.1
REVENUE, dr = 11
TAX, dr = 1.1
