Generate Ship Units Action Does Not Delete Existing Ship Unit References (Doc ID 467848.1)

-- Problem Statement:
On 5.5.03, When attempting to run the action, Generate Ship Units for an Order Release with a Ship Unit Reference number, the following error occurs:

Cannot delete the SHIP_UNIT record. A SHIP_UNIT_REFNUM record references it in its [SHIP_UNIT_GID] column.

java.sql.SQLException: ORA-02292: integrity constraint (GLOGOWNER.FK_SUR_SHIP_UNIT_GID) violated - child record found

-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. create order release using line item screen.
2. save order release.
3. edit order release and add ship-unit refnum.
4. change/add a Transport handling unit on line item.
5. Run action > Generate ship units.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot run the action Generate Ship Units for Orders with Ship Unit
reference numbers
