Information in this document applies to any platform.
When attempting to update an item instance with a serial number the following error occurs:
Internal Error! API returned error without error message
Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. (R) Oracle Installed Base User
2. (N) Query the Customer and enter the product number which you want to assign the serial number to.
3. Enter the serial number, save and error occurs.
