Interface trip stop fails with serial number errors, when item is NOT serial number controlled (Doc ID 470842.1)

Symptoms

 

On 11.5.10.2 in Production:
When attempting to run the Interface Trip Stop for one order, the following error occurs.

ERROR: NO SERIAL RECORDS FOUND FOR TRANSACTION_TEMP_ID 23479350

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.  OM > Shipping > Interfaces > Inventory Interface–SRS
2.  Run Interface Trip Stop for the problematic delivery
3.  Interface Trip stop ends with warning
4.  Review the ITS log file, see the above error message.
