SAVED QUERY RESULT SCREEN SORTING ONLY ONE PAGE (Doc ID 472582.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Transportation Management - Version 5.5.02 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

-- Problem Statement:

On 5.5.0.2 :

When you create a saved query using plsql, for example, "select shipment_gid from shipment where shipment_gid like 'xyz'" the query results in "n" pages of shipments.  If you sort by the Start Date on the first page (from the results page sort based on the Start Date - by clicking on the column header). The expected result would be all the shipments from all the 10 pages to be sorted by Start Date, instead OTM sorts only the first page.

However, if you use the finder screen instead of a saved query, the same set of results when sorted from results page sorts all the 10 pages.

-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Transportation Planning and Execution -> Shipment Management -> Buy Shipments
2. Select a previously created Saved Query built using sql and execute it.
3. Sort by START_TIME.
4. The SQL version is not sorting the entire results, only the ones within the current page.
