This problem can occur on any platform.
Symptoms
On 11.5.10.2 in Production:
Find that where the wf mailer is used by Alerts, the email body has extra header 'garbage' or unwanted characters.
Such as:

Mime-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: multipart/mixed;
boundary="----=_Part_73_14372381.1198091627177"
Content-Language: en
X-oracle-workflow-nid: ALR[1/0000@WFMAIL]
Expect the usual format without additional header coding visible
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will by testing the Alert notification email by entering a condition to trigger the alert.
