Periods Are Visisble In Distribution For A Role Beyond The Role Termination Date (Doc ID 473181.1)

Symptoms

-- Problem Statement:
Find that period are displayed in distribution of a role for a resource in Incentive Compensation
(using Incentive Compensation Super User responsibility) beyond the Role assignment which was done
for this resource in scope of CRM Administrator responsibility.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect that the displayed periods are in accordance in scope of both responsibilities.

-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log in CRM Resource Manager responsibility > Query Resource : Resource 'resource name'
> Role tab > Role 'XX RE' is assigned from 02-Jul-2007 to 1-Dec-2007.
That is from Period 01-08 to 05-08.

2. Log in Incentive Compensation Super User responsibility > Resource > Query for
'resource name'
> Query for Role 'XX RE' in Role LOV > See Compensation Plan > Click on Plan Element

> Distribution button
> Find that Periods available for distribution are visible beyond the Termination Date of
Role assignement to resource (ie 01-Dec-2007).

-- Business Impact:
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot distribute Target (or Goal or Fixed Amount) for Plan element in
accordance with resource - role assignement end date.
Which is source of error in quota (ie budget) assignement to a resource.
