ORACLE INVENTORY ITEM OPEN INTERFACE REFERENCE

Purpose of this document is to explain following item open interface errors:

CONTENTS
--------

1. Error: INVPOPIF:INVPPROC.inproit_process_item ORA-01654: Unable to extend
index (MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_**).

2. Form log file. Error -1 INVPOPIF: Error in assign phase not committed to
errors table.

3. Form log file. Error -1 INVPOPIF: Error in assign phase not through IOI if
only material_sub_elem_id loaded.

4. PLS-00201: Identifier INVPOPIF.INOPINP_OPEN_INTERFACE_PROCESS must be
declared error when running the SQL script, INVIOIRU.sql.

5. PLS-201 errors when recompiling INVALID IOI objects.

6. BOM_OP_VALIDATION_ERR in MTL_INTERFACE_ERRORS

7. BOM_PARSE_ITEM_ERROR in MTL_INTERFACE_ERRORS

8. ORA-1400 error message during insert or validation detected in
BOM_OP_VALIDATION_ERR

9. IOI runs and completes with process flag = 4 (validation succeeded, import
failed).

10. A good tip for problem solving when using the IOI
