Checkbox in RTF Template Shows As a Diamond in PDF Output (Doc ID 549944.1)

Symptoms

You have created a template including use of the wingdings font for checkboxes.
When previewed the checkbox looks ok and in the correct font.
When looking at the PDF output the checkboxes show as diamonds and not squares.
