R12: FSG: CPOI Token Always Shows First Calendar Period Defined for the Ledger in the Report Output (Doc ID 550281.1)

Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.0.0 to 12.0.4 [Release 12.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Program: RGRARG - Financial Statement Generator (FSG)

Symptoms

When using the CPOI token in an FSG, a column for the first period defined in the calendar for the ledger always appears in the report and it appears in the column for the period for which the report is run.

For example: Calendar is from Jul-Jun. User has the requirement where the report should
always show columns July to June irrespective of the period for which report is run. Hence the token CPOI is used here.

The first period defined in the calendar is Jun-05.

When user is running the report, the column for Jun-05 always appears in the report and it appears in the column for the period for which the report is run. All other columns display properly.

Say, report is run for Sep-08, the column for Sep-08 shows heading and data for Jun-05 and Sep-08 is not found anywhere on the report.
Similarly, when report is run for Jul-07, Jun-05 column is reflected instead of Jul-07 in its place and Jul-07 is not shown anywhere in the report.
