Using Data Pump To Create Employees, Get Error "The Mandatory Argument P_PERSON_TYPE_ID Has Either Not Been Specified Or Has Been Explicitly Set To Null In the API PER_CN_EMP_LEG_HOOK..." (Doc ID 550469.1)

Symptoms

When using Data Pump to create employees for China localization, you see the following error in HR_PUMP_BATCH_EXCEPTIONS table:

  The mandatory argument P_PERSON_TYPE_ID value cannot be null
 
  Cause: The mandatory argument P_PERSON_TYPE_ID has either not been specified or
  has been explicitly set to null in the API per_cn_emp_leg_hook.check_int_employee.

  Action: Either specify a value for the P_PERSON_TYPE_ID argument which is not null
  or contact your local support representative.
