Symptoms
When creating any asset group no matter which is the template, the following error occurs.
Unable to define asset group
Insert procedure failed with the following error message :
xxxxx model/unit no. effectivity control is not allowed .
xxxxx Invalid serial number generation value .
Insert procedure failed with the following error message :

xxxxx Invalid serial number generation value .
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Asset -> Asset Group
2. provide Asset Group Name and Description of Asset Group
3. Select and Apply the @Asset Group Template
