R12 GLPRJE Recurring Journal Will Not Reverse When Created for Category Accrual (Doc ID 552558.1)

GLPRJE - Recurring Journal Entry Program

Symptoms

When attempting to reverse a journal created by the Recurring Journal program, either automatic or manual reversal type it will error and will not reverse.

The reversal log file shows the following errors:

>> glprgi() 28-NOV-2007 09:36:52
PREV0004: Invalid header (header ID = 'XXXXXX')

A journal header can only be reversed if it is marked for reversal and has not yet been reversed

Steps to Reproduce:
----------------------
1. Create a journal through the Define Recurring Journal Formula form for category Accrual.
2. Post the journal.
3. Current period is open and following period is at Future - Entry status.
4. Open next period, GLPARV module: Program - Automatic Reversal is submitted after the Open period process is finished and completes with error.
5. Attempting to manually reverse the same journal results in the same error... it cannot be reversed.
