Getting Error "Rvtptcontrol Failed" When Saving a Receipt in Purchasing (Doc ID 553029.1)

Symptoms

You cannot receive an OPM item due to the following error, but are having trouble interpreting it.

The symptoms vary depending on your Receiving Mode, and also on the level of trace / debug that you have enabled.

ERROR in the receipt form:

- with "RCV: Processing Mode" profile option = ONLINE :
rvtptcontrol failed
Cannot read value for profile option RCV_TP_MODE in routine &ROUTINE.
Cannot read value for profile option RCV_TP_MODE in routine &ROUTINE.
Cannot read value for profile option RCV_TP_MODE in routine &ROUTINE.
Cannot read value for profile option RCV_TP_MODE in routine &ROUTINE.
Cannot read value for profile option RCV_TP_MODE in routine &ROUTINE.

- with "RCV: Processing Mode" profile option = BATCH and IMMEDIATE, the Receiving Transaction
Processor concurrent program errors with :
Concurrent program RVCTP returned error
Cause: RVCTP encountered an internal error. Parameters: RVCTP,BATCH,,
Action: Note both this error number and the actions you are trying to perform. Contact your

RVTBM-007: Subroutine rvtbm_batch_mngr() returned error
Cause: Subroutine rvtbm_batch_mngr() returned an internal error.

RVTBM-080: Subroutine rvtptcontrol() returned error
Cause: Subroutine rvtptcontrol() returned an internal error.

Concurrent Manager encountered an error while attempting to start your immediate concurrent
program RVCTP. Routine &ROUTINE received a return code of failure.

OPM RVTII:006 Returning FALSE with return status ORA-20001: APP-GMI-83372: Unit of Measure
Conversion error. The conversion factor for the current unit of measure cannot be determined. Please notify your Systems Administrator.
