Cannot Prevent SERVEREQ Process From Launching When Service Request Is Created (Doc ID 557856.1)

The seeded Service request process (SERVEREQ) is started every time a Service request is created.

In the Service Request Types form no workflow process (or a Custom process)  is associated to the Request type. But, the 'Customer Support Event Process'  (SERVEREQ) process is launched regardless. 

The following settings are selected but the workflow still launches
1. Profile option - Service: Auto Launch Workflow is set to No
2. Profile option - Service: Auto Launch Web Workflow  is set to No
3. 'Auto Launch workflow' check box in the Request Types form is not selected
