Goal
How is the following issue resolved?
When creating an expenditure batch that has leading spaces, in this case 20
spaces and then 15 characters, the batch saves successfully.
When running the gms: costing and fc process, entering only the expenditure
batch field, select the batch from the LOV (NOTE: LOV contains all the
leading spaces, characters), then OK. Get error:
'Value BATCH NAME W/O SPACES for the flexfield segment Expenditure Batch does
not exist in the value set PA_SRS_EXP_GROUP_240_RESEASED_USAGE.'
This is due to the concurrent exp batch field truncates/trims the leading
spaces and the value set/batch form do not, resulting in error.
If the batch name and value set support the leading spaces, then the
concurrent process EXPENIDTURE BATCH parameter should as well.
