Error: Effective From date should be on or after Regime's Effective From date (Doc ID 558949.1)

When attempting to assign a Party to a Tax Regime, I receive the following error:

"Row 1 Error - Effective From date should be on or after Regime's Effective From date."

This is a valid warning, as I used an "Effective From" date of March 14, 2008 when the Tax Regime
"Effective From" date is March 17, 2008. However, the system saved the assignment with the March
14, 2008 date, and will neither allow me to change the Effective From date, or end-date the
record. The result is that I am in a perpetual loop.
