R12 Upgraded Payment Canceled After the Upgrade will not Account (Doc ID 559191.1)

Create Accounting, XLAACCPB, XLAACCUP

Symptoms

Symptom 1:  Upgraded payment canceled after the upgrade will not account.

--The Upgraded Invoice and Payment events are upgraded and accounted OK.
--The Payment Canceled event created AFTER the upgrade is not accounted.

Symptom 2:  In R12, the Create Accounting process shows a 95359 error for Payment Canceled events created for upgraded payments.

Please inform your system administrator or support representative that: The source assigned to the accounting attribute Accounted Amount has no value for extract line number 214814. Please make sure the source assigned to the accounting attribute Accounted Amount has a valid value, or assign a different source to this accounting attribute.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM:

1. Find an upgraded payment
2. Void the upgraded payment.
3. Submit the Create Accounting process and note the Payment Canceled event is not accounted or is accounted with a 95359 error.
