How to Default County Value When a Range of Zip Codes Exist (Doc ID 560301.1)

For customers on OAF version 11.5.10.RUP3 and onwards:

In Oracle Self-Service, in the Address region of the Contacts page, when users select a city, whose zip code has a range of values, the county value does not get populated, though the county value is unique.

Steps To Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In the Personal Information module navigate to the Contacts page. In the Address region select a value for a city whose zip code has a range of values. We see that both zip code and county values are not defaulted.
