FRM-50011 Not A Valid Month Name Error When Attaching Documents From Document Catalog

Your are using Oracle applications release 12.0.3 and you are receiving an error "FRM-50011: Not a valid month name" when trying to attach documents from document catalog on purchase order entry screen in forms.
You are receiving this error when the date format set in user's preferences MM/dd/yyy (02/27/2008).
If you change the date format into dd_mmm_yyyy then it is working fine.
Since the database is running Oracle 10 you check that ORA_NLS10 is correctly set when starting the instance.
The following is visible when reproducing the error with FRD trace active.
