Many Notifications For 'Local Event Error : Oracle.Apps.Fnd.System.Exception' (Doc ID 564705.1)

Symptoms

When try to Open Notifications from worklist, it gives the following error:

Example Error message:

Event Error Name: WFENG_EVENT_NOTFOUND
Event Error Message: 3142: Process 'OAM_BE/949442' has no activities waiting to receive event 'oracle.apps.fnd.system.exception'.
Event Error Stack:
Wf_Engine.Event(OAM_BE, 949442, ALERT_PROC, oracle.apps.fnd.system.exception)
Wf_Rule.Default_Rule(oracle.apps.fnd.system.exception, 262DBC206D04C9CDE0401490C9C411F5)

Steps To Reproduce:
Logon as SYSADMIN => Workflow Administrator Web Applications => Notifications and Select
"Open Notifications

Business Impact:
None but we need to cleanup all these SYSADMIN notifications and prevent them from building up again.
