GLXRTDLY: Inverse Rate not Changing when the Direct Rate is Modified in Daily Rates Form
(Doc ID 565876.1)
Last updated on MARCH 12, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle General Ledger - Version 11.5.10.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Find that when updating an existing daily currency rate entry (for example USD to EUR) in GLXRTDLY (Daily Rates) form, the inverse rate (EUR to USD) is not getting changed accordingly.
The users created a new row by selecting Shift + F6. The new row has been created as a copy of the previous row. The user changes the direct rate - say from USD to EUR, then inverse rate between EUR to USD is not changed for the new row that was copied.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into General Ledger
2. Navigate to Setup-Currcies-Rates-Daily
3. Update the field USD to EUR entry for an existing row
4. The EUR to USD field does not reflect the change, neither when the recored gets saved.
