Account Details Error - Dispute Date Cannot Be Before Last Dispute Date

You are attempting to remove an existing Dispute in Account Details, and adding a new one, and receive the following error:
The dispute date cannot be before the last dispute date.
This occurs even when the dispute date is today, and the previous dispute date is prior to today.
