Unable to Terminate Employee Errors "APP-PAY-07201: Cannot perform a delete with child rows existing in the future" on End Employment Form

Symptoms
When attempting to terminate an employee, the following error occurs on End Employment form:
APP-PAY-07201: Cannot perform a delete with child rows existing in the future
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate HRMS Manager responsibility > People > Enter and Maintain > Others > End Employment form.
2. Entered the following dates in termination dates fields:
Notified '20/09/07' Projected 'Blank' Actual '29/10/07
Last Standard Process '01/11/07' Final Process '29/01/08'
Entered the following information to Person Type and Assignment Status
Type ' Ex-Employee' Status 'Terminate Process Assignment'
3. Press terminate button.
4. Receive error message.
Steps to Reproduce Scenario : Entering final process date after termination
1. The employee was terminated on 01-JAN-2003.
2. The employee is final processed if and when the employee returns.
3. Now that this person is returning for rehire:
a. Date track to 01-JAN-2006.
b. Query the employee.
c. Choose Others from People form.
d. Choose End Employment from list.
e. Enter final process date of 01-JAN-2006 in final process date.
f. Save.
