Symptoms

When attempting to create a repair order for the type 'Repair and Return', the following error occurs when the system tries to create logistic lines automatically:

ERROR
The creation of a default logistics line(s) failed. Please enter the requisite line(s) manually in the Logistic tab.
Invalid return reason code(value=)


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create SR > workbench
  2. Save
  3. Create repair order > (use a repair type that is set up to create logistics lines automatically)
  4. When trying to save the repair order...it errors with the above error
