Assign Shipment To Route Instance Leg Does Not Work For Shipments Planned Manually (Doc ID 578372.1)

Symptoms

-- Problem Statement:
When attempting to Assign Route Instance Leg To Manually Planned Shipment Using "Manual" option, the following error occurs:

ERROR
java.lang.NullPointerException

-- Steps To Reproduce:
1- Select an Order Release > Click on Actions > Create Buy Shipment > Manual.
2- Select the created manual shipment > Actions > Route Execution > Assign To Route Instance Leg > Use ROUTE: Route Instance Leg ID

Note: Only populate the mandatory "Transport Mode ID" and "Service Provider ID" fields when the "Create Manual Shipment" screen comes up.
