IAC Implementation Period Counter Incorrect When Using Implementation Toolkit (Doc ID 579716.1)

Last updated on APRIL 25, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Public Sector Financials (International) - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When adding assets via the Inflation Accounting for Assets (IAC) Implementation Toolkit, the initial entries in igi_iac_transaction_headers show an incorrect period_counter for the transaction_type 'REVALUATION'. The entries should show the period_counter as the latest closed period, as they do for transaction_type 'DEPRECIATION'.

This incorrect period_counter can present itself in the following ways:-

a. When attempting to run an indexed revaluation for the following period, the assets appear as
exceptions with the following message:
'You cannot perform multiple occasional revaluations in one period for this asset or you cannot
perform an occasional revaluation on an asset professionally revalued in the same period.'

b. When checking the Zoom from Financial Inquiry>Revaluation History, it can be seen that the
revaluation Implementation is dated in the following period rather than the closed period.
