Symptoms

Pick Release fails with the following despite there being sufficient available quantity:

Error in Apply - INVFND_API.G_MISS_CHARINV_NO_DEFAULT_LOCFND_API.G_MISS_CHAR
Inv_Pick_Release_PVT.Process_Line: updating reservations created as suggestions failed.

Shipping Exceptions Report shows the following:

Pick Release process could not allocate 20 of item xxxxxxx for order xxxxx as there was insufficient quantity available or Inventory allocations have failed, and the line has been back ordered.
