AR Reports and Vertex REGPRERETURNSTBL Show Transaction Number as '~$~$$$' (Doc ID 603799.1)

Symptoms

This note addresses two related issues.

Issue 1:  When running the Financial Tax Register or Sales Tax Report, there is a problem with the report showing the transaction number column as '~$~$$$' for the majority of transactions.
Issue 2:  Vertex is storing '~$~$$$" for transaction number resulting in incorrect reporting and errors when making adjustments or processing credit memo's
