Goal
Can OIC compare quotas and collect transactions for more than one period in one single period.
for example:
Product P1 has a target sales of $100 per month. Any sale that goes beyond $100 is eligible for compensation with $1 per sale.
Sales become valid as transaction in OIC if the bill has been paid by the customer. Customer is given 6 months of time period to pay the bill. He can pay it in the same month, after 4 months or 6 months. Hence, a sale made in Jan might become eligible as a transaction in OIC in January or May (4 months) or July (6 months).
Say the total sales was $220. $150 bills of the sales were paid in January, $30 in May, $30 in July and $10 got never paid.
Will OIC be able to keep track of sales validated in January, May and July, compare against quota in
Jan, and calculate compensation, and pay accordingly?
Since target was $100, the salesrep made $220 and $120 became eligible for compensation and hence his on paper incentive would come to $120 (that is only if all the sales are validated).
In this case, his total valid sales is $210($150+$30+$30). His compensation should be $210-$100 = $110.
In Jan his compensation would be $50 (as he has exceeded his target in Jan itself).
In May it would be $30 and in Jul $30. Can OIC calculate likewise? If yes, how?
